An unpaid construction bill doesn't have to hang over your home. There's a clear path forward.
Clearpath Resolutions replaces a lump-sum contractor balance with one predictable monthly payment at a fixed rate, and we handle the contractor for you.
Mon–Fri, 8am–6pm ET. After hours, you can schedule a call at a time that works for you.
Here's why we reached out.
When a contractor records a lien for unpaid work, it becomes a public record with your county. We saw that record and wanted you to know there's a straightforward way to resolve it on your terms, without a lump sum.
We are not a collection agency. Our letter is an offer to help, not a demand. You're never obligated to respond, and nothing changes if you don't.
If you'd like to see your options, have the reference number from your letter handy and select Get started, or just give us a call.
Four simple steps, and we do the heavy lifting.
Verify and review
Use the reference number from your letter to securely confirm your identity and see the balance, the contractor, and the property on file.
Choose a plan that fits
Pick a monthly payment and a term you're comfortable with, up to 58 months. You'll see the exact numbers before you agree to anything.
We take it from here
Once you choose to move forward, Clearpath works directly with the contractor to complete the proposed resolution. You do not have to negotiate with the contractor yourself.
One simple monthly payment
Your plan starts only after everything is finalized. From then on, it's one predictable payment to Clearpath each month.
Predictable, transparent, and handled for you.
A fixed rate, often lower than today
Many construction balances accrue interest at high rates. Our plans use one fixed rate that is often lower than what the balance is accruing now.
Terms up to 58 months
Spread the balance over a term that fits your budget instead of paying a lump sum.
We deal with the contractor
No more calls, letters, or back-and-forth. We handle the contractor conversation so you don't have to.
Clear terms, in writing
The numbers you see on screen are the numbers in your agreement. No surprises, no hidden fees.
Nothing due until it's final
Reviewing your options and signing a letter of intent doesn't cost anything. Your first payment is only due after final documents are signed.
Private and secure
Your account details are only shown after you verify your identity. We never put your balance on the outside of a letter.
Straight answers before you decide anything.
Why did I get a letter from Clearpath?
When a contractor files a lien for unpaid work, it becomes part of the public record with the county. We review those records and reach out to homeowners who may benefit from a structured way to resolve the balance.
Receiving a letter doesn't obligate you to anything. It's simply an offer to help if you want it.
Is Clearpath a collection agency?
No. We don't collect debts on behalf of contractors, and we're not trying to pressure you. Our role is to settle the balance with the contractor ourselves and replace it with a payment plan that works for you. If you'd rather not proceed, that's completely fine.
What is a lien, and why is there one on my property?
A construction lien (sometimes called a mechanic's lien) is a legal claim a contractor can record against a property when they say they haven't been paid for work. It can make it harder to sell or refinance your home until it's resolved. Clearpath helps you resolve the underlying balance so the lien can be addressed.
What does it cost me?
There's no fee to verify your account, review your options, or sign a letter of intent. If you choose a plan, you pay a fixed interest rate on the balance over the term you select, and you'll see the monthly payment, number of payments, and total before you commit. There are no hidden or upfront fees.
How is this better than dealing with the contractor directly?
Many homeowners simply can't pay a large balance all at once, and contractors often aren't set up to offer long-term payment plans. We give you a predictable monthly payment at a fixed rate, handle the contractor ourselves, and put every term in writing.
What if I dispute the work or the amount?
Our program is designed for balances where the work was done and the amount is agreed. If you have an unresolved dispute about the quality of the work or what you owe, tell us. A resolution specialist can talk through your situation and whether Clearpath is the right fit.
Will this affect my credit?
Reviewing your options and signing a letter of intent does not involve a hard credit pull. As with any payment agreement, making your payments on time is what matters once a plan is in place. A resolution specialist can answer specific questions before you sign anything.
How long does it take?
You can verify your account and see your options in a few minutes. Finalizing the agreement depends on how quickly we can complete the paperwork with the contractor, typically a few weeks. We'll keep you updated along the way.
Is my information safe?
Yes. Your account details are only visible after you confirm your identity, and we never print your balance or account information on the outside of a mailer. We only use your information to help resolve your account.
Talk to a real person.
Our resolution specialists are here to answer questions, walk you through your options, or just listen. No scripts, no pressure.
